In October 2019, ICMIF member Achmea (Netherlands) launched the Achmea Innovation Fund, a €100 million investment fund that will provide growth capital to promising businesses that support their cooperative identity and mission to contribute to a healthier, safer and future-proof society. The fund focuses on promising, fast-growing start-ups and scale-ups, often based on emerging technologies in the FinTech and InsurTech sectors, and operating in the insurance-related ecosystems of Achmea’s strategic domains: health, mobility, living environments and financial solutions.

This webinar will look at how the Achmea Innovation Fund assesses possible partnerships with ambitious business operators who are developing innovative initiatives that, as well as having a major social impact – and aligning with the UN’s three Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that Achmea is focused on (good health and well-being, sustainable cities and communities and climate action), also deliver value for the business.
