Swedish ICMIF member Folksam will soon be providing video inspection services so that its claims administrators can inspect and document damage remotely. It is expected that this will contribute to faster claims handling, reduced climate impact and increased customer satisfaction.
“After a successful test period, we choose to introduce video inspections in our regular damage management within property, construction and motor damage. We believe that this type of digital service will become increasingly important to us at Folksam. Partly for customers’ expectations of fast and professional claims settlement, and partly as part of our sustainability work. By replacing physical travel with video inspections, we can help reduce our climate footprint” says Carina Aho Laitinen, Head of Division Claims Backoffice, Home and Motor.
